Reiki Mobilization
Carlisle Bowen Works
Service Description
Reiki Mobilization combines Reiki and Bowen Therapy techniques for a complete relaxation and pain-release session. What is Reiki Mobilization? Reiki Mobilization combines the healing, gentle touch of reiki and several physical healing modalities - all done energetically. This combined technique focuses attention on physical pain, working to relieve congested areas of the body. The practitioner begins by energetically working at the root of the spine and visualizing opening up the stuck energy to then relieve pain . The reiki continues to move through the receiver, relaxing the whole body in a non-invasive way. This modality was developed by Nancy Bittinger, owner of Carlisle Bowenwork, in Central,PA who had a client who had experienced trauma and could not receive the modalities Nancy offered in a hands-on way. She began to work energetically with this client, experimenting with several modalities and the client felt relief. Over 2 years, Nancy continued to apply energetic work to several physical modalities and created Reiki Mobilization as a result. Currently, there are only three practitioners who have been trained in this technique, and Rachel Schwab is one of them! Reiki (pronounced Ray-Kee) is a “hands-on” healing technique that is beneficial for stress reduction, reduces physical pain, and promotes healing. It comes from the Japanese words “rei” (universal) and “ki” (life force energy). Commonly referred to as “energy healing,” Reiki treats the whole person including the physical body, emotions, mind, and spirit. Energy that stagnates in the body due to physical injury or emotional distress can lead to energetic blockages that cause illness — often chronic in nature. Reiki brings the energetic body into balance, relieving stress and pain, while promoting overall well-being.
